The Vendors Initiative for Social and Economic Transformation (VISET) has embarked on a regional initiative of bringing together informal traders particularly the Zimbabwean diaspora. In collaboration with partners who are working in the region, we have been able to hold meetings and established contacts to establish these VISET chapters across SADC. VISET has active regional chapters in Namibia, Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, Swaziland, Uganda and Botswana. In South Africa, The Living Together Institute (LTI) has helped the organization in establishing contacts and organizing meeting with labour’s movements like COSATU and other civil society organisations that VISET has relied on to understand the regional environment and how the organization can take forward its regionalisation agenda
